Inter Milan are interested<\/a> in signing Arturo Vidal<\/a>, and, according to\u00a0Fabrizio Romano<\/a>, Vidal’s agents are in talks with his club’s board to terminate his contract. The former Bayern Munich\u00a0<\/a>midfielder seems to be Antonio Conte’s priority, as they look to reunite next season. Vidal’s current contract at Barcelona<\/a> lasts until June 2021.<\/p>\n

Not in Ronald Koeman’s Plans<\/h3>\n

Arturo Vidal was an integral part of Quique Seti\u00e9n<\/a>‘s Barcelona squad last season. Under the Spanish manager, the 33-year-old made 33 appearances in La Liga<\/a>, scoring eight goals and two assists from midfield.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the Chilean’s career at Camp Nou seems to be over. As Ronald Koeman<\/a> looks to build his ideal Barcelona team, Vidal is not in the Dutch manager’s plans. Since his contract lasts one more year, his agents are in talks with the Barcelona board to terminate the contract, in order to join Inter for free. The Italian club completed the same type of move<\/a> for Alexis Sanchez<\/a> to keep him permanently at the San Siro after his loan.<\/p>\n

Vidal needs his contract to end this year, as he isn’t getting any younger and doesn’t have time to waste on the bench. The midfielder is looking to re-ignite his career in Italy, where he played from 2011 to 2015 for Juventus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Other Options for Arturo Vidal<\/h3>\n

A reunion with Conte seems on the cards for Vidal, but the midfielder could also return to his previous Italian club, Juventus. The Chilean international had a successful spell with the Bianconeri, winning four titles in four seasons under Antonio Conte<\/a> and then Max Allegri.<\/p>\n

Speaking in an\u00a0interview<\/a> on Youtube, Arturo Vidal expressed his affection for Juventus: \u201cAndrea Pirlo<\/a>? He was incredible when he played, imagine him as a coach! If he or Juventus calls me, I\u2019m happy, but one has to be calm.”<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old also spoke about Barcelona’s current crisis, saying: \u201cBarcelona has to change a lot of things.<\/p>\n

“A team, which I think is the best in the world, cannot have 13 professional players and the rest are minors. Not because (the youth) do not deserve to be there, but in this team, they have to be competing for who is best and who will play.<\/p>\n

“I am at the disposal of what the team decides, here or at another club, I will try to be the best. I already spoke with Ronald Koeman<\/a>, this Sunday 30 we return, and we will see what happens.”<\/p>\n

Wherever he ends up, Arturo Vidal has a lot of work to do to spark life into his career. He is very experienced and has been very successful, which can be an asset to most clubs if he returns to his best.<\/p>\n
