Norwich City<\/a> have confirmed that they have completed the signing of Jordan Hugill<\/a> on a three-year deal.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old joins from West Ham United<\/a>; however, he only made a handful of appearances in a Hammers shirt.<\/p>\n

Experienced Championship Striker<\/h3>\n

Hugill is an experienced striker at Championship level, which will prove useful for Norwich as they look to make a swift return to the Premier League.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old is best known for his time at Preston North End, who he joined in the summer of 2014.<\/p>\n

After a series of loan spells, Hugill established himself in the first-team set-up at Deepdale in the 2015\/16 season. He made 32 appearances, scoring five times.<\/p>\n

However, his confidence only grew from there. Across the next season-and-a-half, he made 76 appearances, scoring 23 times.<\/p>\n

That record saw him earn a move to West Ham in the 2018 January transfer window, completing a \u00a310 million move.<\/p>\n

However, Hugill never made an impact for the Hammers, and has spent the last two years on loan with Middlesbrough and Queens Park Rangers retrospectively.<\/p>\n

Speaking about his move to the Norwich City website<\/a>, Hugill said: “As soon as I knew they were interested in taking me, it was a decision that I wanted to move quickly. To come here is brilliant for me and my family to get settled again and hit the ground running.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“For me, the aim is to get this club back to where they want to be and for me to prove a point.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m a big, physical presence who will batter a defender around, so quite old school, but I\u2019m also a very powerful striker who can get in the box and on the end of things.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m looking forward to meeting and getting to know everyone, but more importantly I\u2019m looking forward to succeeding with everyone.”<\/span><\/p>\n
