According to Mike McGrath of The Telegraph<\/a>, Fulham<\/a> have become the latest club to express an interest in Callum Wilson<\/a>. Scott Parker<\/a> wants to bring in Premier League<\/a> experience as he prepares his Fulham side for the 2020\/21 campaign.<\/p>\n

The centre-forward was a target for Tottenham<\/a> and Manchester United<\/a> in January. However, Wilson could settle for a team not pushing for European football in pursuit of regular first-team football.<\/p>\n

Demand Is High, as Is the Price<\/h3>\n

Demand for Wilson has increased since Bournemouth<\/a> were relegated to the Championship<\/a>. Fulham join the likes of West Ham<\/a>, Crystal Palace<\/a>, and Newcastle<\/a> in battling for Wilson\u2019s signature. It seems likely that the England<\/a> international will be back playing top-flight football, but the Cherries are determined not to let Wilson leave on the cheap.<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail<\/a> reports that Bournemouth want \u00a330 million for Wilson, which would certainly throw a couple of teams off. However, the 28-year old is a proven Premier League striker and will have another few years of being at the top.<\/p>\n

A Move That Would Benefit Callum Wilson\u2019s International Career<\/h3>\n

For Wilson to break back into the England set-up, then Premier League football is a must. The competition for places in the England squad continues to increase but Callum Wilson will feel that he has unfinished business to attend to. With the Euro\u2019s switching to 2021, a good season in the Premier League will definitely put the forward in contention.<\/p>\n

Gareth Southgate<\/a> is an admirer of Wilson and with such a young England squad emerging, may look to players like Wilson to add experience.<\/p>\n

Could Bournemouth Be Reluctant to Sell?<\/h3>\n

Following Bournemouth\u2019s relegation, the club may lose a number of players. Nathan Ake<\/a> has already departed, with speculation around the likes David Brooks<\/a>, Lloyd Kelly<\/a>, Ryan Fraser<\/a>, and Josh King<\/a> also worrying the Cherries.<\/p>\n

Although it will be difficult to keep the squad together in England\u2019s second tier, Bournemouth need to be wary. In more recent times, clubs who have been relegated to the Championship have struggled in the division. Bournemouth find themselves in a difficult situation this season. Primarily, the club will focus on ensuring the quality of the squad is at a level to compete for promotion. But also, the Cherries will need to sell players to ensure their own financial well-being.<\/p>\n
