The forward, who worked under U&#8217;s boss Karl Robinson during his time in Buckinghamshire, was on trial with Oxford during their pre-season training camp in Wales last week, and has been handed a one-year contract.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">Oxford United Sign Dylan Asonganyi From MK Dons<\/h2>\n<h3>Highly-Rated Youngster<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Asonganyi spent ten years with MK, but only managed ten appearances for the club. He made the first-team squad as a 16-year-old but only made his debut two years later. He was released in the summer after a string of injuries during his tenure.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">However, the youngster had previously been linked with a number of <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/category\/premier-league\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Premier League<\/a> clubs, including <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/clubs\/liverpool\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Liverpool<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/clubs\/manchester-united\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Manchester United<\/a>, and Robinson believes he will be a good fit for the U&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Robinson and Asonganyi Both Delighted With the Move<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oufc.co.uk\/news\/2020\/august\/dylan-asonganyi-joins\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Speaking to the clubs&#8217; official website, Robinson said<\/a>: \u201cHe is very talented. As a kid, there were a lot of clubs looking at him but he suffered an injury and then maybe hasn\u2019t had the opportunities which he would have liked.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;So we took a look and he pushed himself in every session, clearly has a desire and we think he will come here determined to show what he can truly do.\u201d<\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Asonganyi added: \u201cThe Gaffer and all the staff have been amazing with me. It was good to get to know everyone over the last week and it\u2019s a very ambitious club where I want to come in, settle down and play my football again. I feel fit and strong and I can&#8217;t wait to get started.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Fifth Summer Signing<\/h3>\n<p>Asonganyi becomes Karl Robinson&#8217;s fifth summer signing.
