Following relegation from the Premier League<\/a>, Aaron Ramsdale<\/a> is reportedly set to become the latest Bournemouth<\/a> departure. According to Peter Rutzler of The Athletic,<\/a> the Cherries have reluctantly accepted a bid in the region of \u00a318.5 million with a 15% sell-on clause taking it to \u00a321 million. Sky Sports also understands<\/a> that, despite the accepted bid, personal terms are yet to be agreed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Back Where It All Began for Ramsdale<\/h3>\n

By switching the Championship<\/a> with Bournemouth for the Premier League with Sheffield United<\/a>, Ramsdale will be doing the exact opposite to what he did in 2017.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Three years ago, Ramsdale set off for the top flight and Bournemouth in a \u00a31 million deal from Sheffield United. Now, to come full circle, if reports are to be believed, Ramsdale is set to return to where it all began.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dean Henderson’s Place in Manchester United’s Squad Confirmed?<\/h3>\n

After a successful loan spell at the Blades last season, Dean Henderson<\/a> has returned to Manchester United<\/a>. The Englishman is set to compete with veteran David De Gea<\/a> alongside the also experienced Sergio Romero<\/a> for the number one spot. All three keepers have shown their worth to Ole Gunnar Solskj\u00e6r, who may be forced into a tough decision this summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Though, it has to be said, with Ramsdale reportedly moving to Sheffield United, Henderson’s place at United looks safer than ever. A move to the Blades would have undoubtedly occurred if Henderson was not in the plans of Solskj\u00e6r<\/span>\u00a0this season. Ramsdale’s potential move should put an end to any speculation regarding Henderson this summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another Huge Loss for Bournemouth<\/h3>\n

First, it was Ryan Fraser<\/a> before the season could even reach its end. Then, it was Nathan Ake<\/a> on a \u00a340 million deal to Manchester City. And now, in the latest Bournemouth departure, Ramsdale is set to swap relegation for Sheffield United stardom. <\/span><\/p>\n

Bournemouth, at the very least, will need to spend the resulting money wisely this summer. The departed players are a huge blow, but they can also act as a blessing for Bournemouth as they look to rebuild a once-great squad.<\/span><\/p>\n
