The Blades had moved ahead of Premier League<\/a> new-boys West Bromwich Albion<\/a> last week, according<\/a> to The Sun’s Alan Nixon.<\/p>\n

After rising through the ranks at Everton, a successful loan period at Wigan was enough for the Latics to submit a \u00a32 million bid for the youngster. The Toffees now face stiff competition<\/a> if they are to bring Robinson back to Goodison Park.<\/p>\n

Antonee Robinson Has Attracted Interest From a Host of Premier League Club’s<\/h2>\n

Robinson made 39 appearances for the Latics last season in an incident-packed campaign for the U.S.A international. In January, Robinson looked set to join AC Milan in a deal that was reportedly worth up to \u00a310 million. However, late into deadline day, the deal broke through. Complications with his medical examination meant that Wigan Athletic man needed additional tests, which would have taken an extra 72 hours to complete.<\/p>\n

Regarding his future with Wigan Athletic and the recent speculation, Antonee Robinson spoke to the Liverpool Echo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy goal next season, no matter where I am and what I am doing, I just want to play. We\u2019ll see what happens\u201d, he stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was already up for sale in January, so hopefully that means I can kick on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Desperate Times for Wigan Athletic<\/h3>\n

In the desperate times Wigan find themselves in, they need to sell crucial players to ensure their financial well-being. Kieffer Moore<\/a> became the fourth Wigan Athletic player to be sold earlier this week.<\/p>\n

Cardiff City<\/a> secured the services of the Welsh international in a deal said<\/a> to be worth around \u00a32 million. Moore joins Jensen Weir<\/a>, Alfie Devine<\/a>, and Joe Gelhardt<\/a> as players who Wigan have had to sell cheaply over the past month.<\/p>\n

Ideal Move for Antonee Robinson<\/h3>\n

With three established Premier League sides after Robinson, it is an exciting time for the former Everton player. It would be expected that if he were to join his former side, he would initially be back-up to Lucas Digne<\/a>. Only Richarlison<\/a> and Jordan Pickford<\/a> made more appearances than the French international last season, who has made the position his own in the short time he has been there.<\/p>\n

In pursuit of playing regular first-team football, a move to either Fulham or Sheffield United would be ideal for Robinson. He provides a fresh alternative to Enda Stevens<\/a> and Joe Bryan<\/a> and under the right guidance, could gain valuable playing time next season.<\/p>\n
