Stoke City<\/a> goalkeeper Jack Butland<\/a> looks set to leave the Bet365 Stadium, according to Sky Sports<\/a> and The Stoke Sentinel.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Butland could be available for a cut-down price for any clubs willing to bid for the England international. The 27-year-old is unlikely to sign a new contract with Stoke, according to his agent, Paul Stretford.<\/p>\n

Butland’s agent spoke to Sky Sports yesterday and explained Butland’s current position with Stoke.<\/p>\n

The goalkeeper has one year remaining on his contract. But it appears that he is unwilling to extend with the Potters beyond next season.<\/p>\n

In his interview with Sky, Stretford said<\/a>: “Talks have been ongoing with Stoke City for the past two years since Jack made it clear his preference was not to extend his existing contract. Last season there were some very interesting opportunities for Jack but, due to different reasons, they did not materialise.<\/p>\n

“Relations between Jack, the manager and the club remain in a good place and if we are able to find the right fit for Jack then I am confident that conditions are right for a deal to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Stretford was adamant that Butland would give his all for Stoke next season if no suitable offers are made.<\/p>\n

He added: “[If no move materialises] either in the summer or next January\u2019s window – Jack will stay with Stoke City until the end of his current contract at the end of next season.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a38-\u00a310 Million for Butland<\/h3>\n

Due to his current situation, Stoke will reportedly sell Butland for between \u00a38-\u00a310 million. This valuation would be a huge markdown from their \u00a330 million valuation<\/a> of the 27-year-old two seasons ago when he was part of the England squad for the 2018 World Cup.<\/p>\n

No concrete offers have been made for Butland yet, but certain clubs have made enquires for the goalkeeper.<\/p>\n

He made 35 appearances for Stoke last season, helping the club to avoid relegation from the Championship.<\/p>\n

Butland has played 168 games for Stoke following his move from Birmingham City<\/a> in January 2013.<\/p>\n
