Jan Oblak<\/a> has told Spanish media outlet AS<\/a> that he will reflect upon his future after Atletico Madrid finish their Champions League campaign.<\/p>\n

The Slovenian goalkeeper has a reported release clause of \u00a3110 million written into his contract with the Spanish club, and is of interest to Chelsea<\/a> as Frank Lampard<\/a> looks to replace<\/a> Kepa Arrizabalaga<\/a> at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

Jan Oblak to Consider Future at Atletico Madrid<\/h2>\n

Atletico in Champions League Action Against RB Leipzig<\/h3>\n

Before Oblak can turn his attention towards the future, his immediate focus in on tonight\u2019s European encounter with German club RB Leipzig.<\/p>\n

Speaking ahead of that clash, Oblak told the media: \u201cI\u2019ll assess the situation when the last game is over. Hopefully we\u2019ll have three more games to play, and then there will be time after that to talk. But first, [the game against] Leipzig. I\u2019m really looking forward to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Atletico president Enrique Cerezo has previously stated that the 27-year-old goalkeeper is not for sale<\/a>. Oblak\u2019s comments, however, have cast doubt over the situation as the summer transfer window progresses.<\/p>\n

A Stellar Season for Oblak<\/h3>\n

Though it is not yet over for his side, the 2019\/20 season has been yet another stellar campaign for Oblak.<\/p>\n

The shot-stopper was influential as Altetico eliminated holders Liverpool<\/a> from the Champions League with victory home and away.<\/p>\n

In league competition, Oblak played all 38 games for his side this season and kept 17 clean sheets as Atletico finished third in La Liga. Additionally, only champions Real Madrid<\/a> conceded fewer than Atletico\u2019s 27 goals-against.<\/p>\n

His fine form has seen Oblak linked heavily with Chelsea. Sky Sports are reporting<\/a> that the Slovenian is included on a goalkeeping shortlist that also includes Burnley<\/a>\u2019s Nick Pope<\/a> and Ajax\u2019s Andre Onana<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If they are to chase Oblak\u2019s signature, Chelsea will need to match his hefty release clause in order for Atletico to entertain any offer for the player. Such an investment may only be possible if the Blues are also able to offload Kepa in this window.<\/p>\n
