A Number of Premier League Clubs in the Race<\/h3>\n

Following their relegation from the Premier League last month, Bournemouth may have to sell some of their key players. Defender Nathan Ake<\/a> has already moved to Manchester City<\/a> for \u00a341 million and the Welshman could be next.<\/p>\n

However, despite growing interest in Brooks, new Cherries boss Jason Tindall has insisted there’ll be no ‘fire sale’ of key players.<\/p>\n

Alongside Liverpool and Leicester, the Leicester Mercury reports<\/a> that Newcastle United<\/a>, Crystal Palace<\/a> and West Ham United<\/a> are also monitoring the situation.<\/p>\n

According to The Sun<\/a>, Liverpool are preparing a bid of \u00a335 million for the 23-year-old.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth Winger Brooks in Demand Despite Injury-Hit Season<\/h3>\n

The Welshman had a difficult season, dealing with both a long-term injury and relegation from the Premier League. Brooks played in the Cherries’ final nine league games but couldn’t halt their slide.<\/p>\n

Since signing from Sheffield United<\/a> in 2018, the Welsh international has played 42 times for the South coast side. In that time, he’s netted eight times and provided five assists.<\/p>\n

At just 23-years-old and a fair amount of Premier League experience, the speculation is unsurprising.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth Boss Confident of Keeping Squad Together<\/h3>\n

With large transfer fees being offered, it will be a difficult task for Tindall to keep his most valuable assets. However, he believes the club will not have to have a widespread clearout.<\/p>\n

The ex-Bournemouth player said he took the job because he knew the club didn’t want to sell players en masse.<\/p>\n

At his first press conference, the 42-year-old said: “I wouldn’t be sitting here now if I didn’t have assurances.<\/p>\n

“If the club had said fire sale, losing eight or nine players, I wouldn’t be sitting here now.”<\/p>\n
