Daniel Sturridge is keen to reignite his playing career in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
In an interview with Sky Sports<\/a>, the former Liverpool<\/a> and Chelsea striker said that he has “unfinished business” and wants to return to England’s top flight.<\/p>\n Capped by England on 26 occasions, the striker has been without a club since leaving Turkish side Trabzonspor in March amid controversy after being handed a four-month worldwide football ban for breaching the FA’s gambling regulations.<\/a><\/p>\n Sturridge, still just 30 years old, now says he has maintained his training schedule and is ready for the next challenge following the expiration of his ban.<\/p>\n The man who formed part of Liverpool’s formidable attack alongside Luis Suarez<\/a> dubbed the ‘SAS’ said: “I believe I’ve got a lot to give to the Premier League and I would say that’s my first choice. I do feel I have unfinished business so I would like to go back and play there.”<\/p>\n With 50 goals in 116 appearances for Liverpool<\/a> during his last permanent spell in English football, there is no doubt Sturridge possesses the quality required in the top flight.
