The Shropshire side have announced the signings of Rekiel Pyke, Scott High and Josh Daniels.<\/p>\n<p>Striker Pyke and midfielder High arrive from <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/category\/league-football\/championship\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Huddersfield Town<\/a>. Pyke arrives on a permanent deal, while High joins on a season-long loan. Attacking player Daniels arrives from Northern Irish side Glenavon.<\/p>\n<h2>Shrewsbury Town First Three Signings<\/h2>\n<h3>Rekiel Pyke First to be Confirmed By Shrewsbury<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shrewsburytown.com\/news\/2020\/august\/rekeil-pyke-is-a-salopian\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Striker Pyke<\/a> is an experienced striker having spent plenty of time on loan in the football league. The striker has featured for the likes of Colchester United, Rochdale and Port Vale.<\/p>\n<p>The striker reunites with Shrewsbury manager Sam Ricketts after the pair worked together at Wrexham. He joins on a free transfer following his release from Huddersfield.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about Pyke\u2019s acquisition, Ricketts said: \u201cHe\u2019s young lad who I\u2019ve worked with before, he\u2019s been out on loan several times which has enabled him to develop. He enjoyed a great spell with me at Wrexham.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s 6ft 2&#8243;, very quick and very strong, I believe he\u2019s got loads of potential.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m delighted to get him as a permanent signing, we can\u2019t wait to get him in, help him develop and watch him progress. There aren\u2019t many players who are blessed with his pace and strength.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Scott High Also Arrives From Huddersfield Town<\/h3>\n<p>Shrewsbury\u2019s second signing of the day was central midfielder <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shrewsburytown.com\/news\/2020\/august\/scott-high-signs-for-town\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Scott High<\/a>. The talented midfielder arrives on a season-long loan.<\/p>\n<p>High is a highly thought of in the Terriers&#8217; academy and this will be his first taste of the Football League. He has been a regular in the Huddersfield youth sides and has been a unused substitute for the senior side on a handful of occasions.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about High, Ricketts said: \u201cHe\u2019s a young lad, who Dean Whitehead knows very well from his time there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cScott is an all-round midfielder, who\u2019s full of energy. He\u2019s eager to come out and test himself with his first league loan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s got a fantastic attitude and is desperate to get going.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Josh Daniels Completes Triple Announcement<\/h3>\n<p>Talented attacker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shrewsburytown.com\/news\/2020\/august\/josh-daniels-moves-to-the-meadow\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Josh Daniels<\/a> completes Shrewsbury\u2019s triple announcement of signings. The attacker has sparkled for Northern Irish Premiership side Glenavon.<\/p>\n<p>Daniels joins for an undisclosed fee and has signed a two-year deal at The Montgomery Waters Stadium. He has the option of a further year should he impress.<\/p>\n<p>Daniels has sparkled for Glenavon scoring 15 goals in 13 matches. He will hope to transfer that form in the English Football League.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about Daniels\u2019 arrival, Sam Ricketts said: \u201c Josh is\u00a0 from Northern Ireland, a market which we\u2019re always looking at to try and bring in the best talent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s someone who\u2019s stepping up from part-time football but has a brilliant desire and attitude to want to succeed and has done everything he can to get this opportunity and will now do all he can to make it work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJosh is a fantastic athlete who\u2019s very skilful.
