Luton Town<\/a> have confirmed five departures from Kenilworth Road following the conclusion of the 2019\/20 season. Among them is winger Callum McManaman who departs after just one season.<\/p>\n

Jacob Butterfield also exits after a season while Luton\u2019s three loanees have returned to their parent clubs. All played a role as Luton escaped relegation from the Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n

McManaman Departs After Helping Luton Escape Relegation<\/h3>\n

The well-travelled Scottish winger departs Kenilworth Road after just one season. He scored four goals in 26 matches with the Bedfordshire side. Three of those came from the substitutes bench which crucially earned the Hatters five points.<\/p>\n

Jacob Butterfield<\/a> also departs following the expiration of his contract. The former Derby County midfielder made 17 appearances in his sole season at Luton. His best moment was scoring a vital winner against Barnsley.<\/p>\n

The final three departures are loanees Izzy Brown<\/a>, Cameron Carter-Vickers<\/a> and James Bree<\/a>. All three played a vital role as Luton survived relegation. Brown returns to Chelsea<\/a> after making 28 appearances and scoring just the once.<\/p>\n

Bree made 42 appearances and was an ever-present on the right-hand side this season. He will return to parent club Aston Villa<\/a>. Carter-Vickers arrived in January and made 16 appearances helping the Hatters tighten up defensively. He will return to Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> hoping to have impressed Jose Mourinho.<\/p>\n

Contract Offers on the Table for Four Others<\/h3>\n

As well as announcing five departures, Luton have also announced contract offers are on the table for four others.<\/p>\n

Luke Berry<\/a>, Danny Hylton<\/a>, Kazenga LuaLua<\/a> and Glen Rea<\/a> have all been offered contracts.<\/p>\n

Luton have also announced midfielder Eunan O\u2019Kane<\/a> will continue his rehabilitation at the club. The midfielder initially joined on loan from Leeds United but injuries have hampered his season. He will spend the 2020\/21 season at Kenilworth on loan from Leeds United.<\/p>\n
