Inter Milan<\/a> are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> over the potential signing of former Lyon<\/a> midfielder Tanguy Ndombele<\/a>, The Guardian’s Fabrizio Romano reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

REPORT: Inter Milan in Talks to Sign Tanguy Ndombele<\/h2>\n

Inter to Offer Ndombele Escape Route<\/h3>\n

Ndombele, 23, joined Tottenham from Ligue 1<\/a> side, Lyon, for a club-record \u00a355m<\/a> last summer.<\/p>\n

He has endured a tricky first season in North-London, not helped by the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino. Ndombele’s time under Jose Mourinho hasn’t worked out very well so far.<\/p>\n

He has started in just 12 of Tottenham’s 38 Premier League<\/a> games this season. Ndombele has featured just twice since football returned after lockdown.<\/p>\n

Despite the manager giving his backing for a turnaround in form, the French midfielder is subject to interest from Inter Milan.<\/p>\n

The Serie A side have opened talks with Tottenham, who value Ndombele at \u00a345 million. However, Inter Milan are not thought to be willing to pay such a transfer fee.<\/p>\n

There is a possibility of a swap deal taking place – with Milan Skriniar<\/a> viewed as a possible replacement for Jan Vertonghen<\/a>, who’s contract recently expired.<\/p>\n

The two clubs share a good relationship after Christian Eriksen<\/a> made the move to San Siro in January.<\/p>\n

Keeping an Eye on Perisic<\/h3>\n

Jose Mourinho tried to sign Ivan Perisic<\/a> for Manchester United<\/a> during his time at Old Trafford. It appears he is monitoring the Croatian midfielder’s situation once again<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Perisic remains an Inter Milan player, though has been on loan at Bayern Munich<\/a> – who are favourites to sign him permanently. The Bundesliga<\/a> champions had an option to buy<\/a> in their season-long loan deal, however that has expired<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Perisic has had a good spell in Germany, with 16 goal contributions in 31 games.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, they remain<\/a> in talks to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg<\/a> from Southampton<\/a> but have been told they have no chance of signing Nicolo Zaniolo<\/a> from Roma<\/a>.<\/p>\n
