After suffering relegation from the Premier League<\/a> last weekend, Bournemouth<\/a> are now set to lose Nathan Ake<\/a>, Josh King<\/a>, and Callum Wilson<\/a> this summer as reported by Peter Rutzler of the Athletic<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

The news coincides with a big week for Bournemouth as discussions about the future of the club begin to take place; this includes talks about Eddie Howe’s future, potential redundancies and the taking of legal action against Hawkeye.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bournemouth Trio Set To Leave Following Relegation From Premier League<\/span><\/h2>\n

A Cut Price Deal Available For Nathan Ake?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Following Bournemouth’s relegation, Nathan Ake is reportedly set to leave the club on a cut-price deal. Prior to relegation, the Dutchman’s price tag would have been around the \u00a350-70 million mark. Now that Bournemouth are down, however, according to the Telegraph<\/a>, Ake’s price tag could drop to as low as the \u00a325-40 million mark this summer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The defender is also one of few Bournemouth players without a relegation clause in his contract, meaning that Bournemouth may not even be able to afford his current wage demands. Selling Nathan Ake could well be in Bournemouth’s best interests this summer as they look to recover from the financial impact of COVID-19 alongside relegation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Josh King and Callum Wilson Also Set to Leave<\/span><\/h3>\n

Nathan Ake’s potential departure will undoubtedly do more harm than good for Eddie Howe’s side this summer, but add Josh King and Callum Wilson to the list of departures, and things look increasingly worrying for the Cherries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Financially, the sales-though at a cut-price- will come as a relief for Bournemouth. When it comes to their ambition to bounce back into the Premier League next season, though, the potential sales will cause significant anxiety within the Bournemouth ranks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All of a sudden, if the reports are true, Bournemouth will be without Wilson, King, Ake and the already departed Ryan Fraser<\/a> heading into the Championship; with four departures, their squad looks as weak and incapable of achieving their goals as ever before in recent years.<\/span><\/p>\n
