Luton\u2019s visitors Blackburn are hoping for a strong finish to the season. Tony Mowbray will be assessing his players as he plots another promotion bid next season. Victory for Rovers could see them finish as high as eighth.<\/p>\n

Luton Town Take on Blackburn Looking to Secure Their Championship Status<\/h2>\n

A Win is Imperative For Luton<\/h3>\n

It’s another crucial game for Nathan Jones and his Luton team. They have been transformed since Jones\u2019 return with their survival bid really gaining momentum. They head into this must-win clash with Blackburn inside the relegation places but only on goal difference.<\/p>\n

Luton know if they better Charlton Athletic\u2019s result, the chances of staying in the Championship are increased. However, there is so much uncertainty due to Wigan Athletic\u2019s points deduction. Despite all the uncertainty, Nathan Jones will want his side to go for victory and build on their recent run of one defeat eleven games.<\/p>\n

Nathan Jones will likely stick with the same eleven which delivered at Hull City on Saturday. He could bring in match-winner Kazenga LuaLua<\/a> whose goal kept their survival bid alive.<\/p>\n

Victory is imperative for Luton\u2019s chances of survival. Results in their favour could see them finish above Charlton Athletic, Birmingham City and Middlesbrough who are all danger too.<\/p>\n

Blackburn Hoping to Finish on a High<\/h3>\n

Despite missing out on the play-offs, it has been another season of progress at Blackburn. They have been excellent once again under Tony Mowbray even without star man Bradley Dack<\/a> for much of the campaign.<\/p>\n

The likes of Adam Armstrong<\/a> have stepped up and made Blackburn a difficult side to play against. Tony Mowbray will be assessing his players ahead of busy summer in the transfer window.<\/p>\n

He will also want his side to finish on a high and secure consecutive league wins to finish the season. Victory at Kenilworth Road and other results in their favour could see Rovers finish eighth.<\/p>\n

Sam Gallagher<\/a> could start after notching the winner in Saturday\u2019s thrilling game with Reading. Stewart Downing<\/a> started on the bench and he could be involved from the start.<\/p>\n

Loanees Tosin Adarabioyo<\/a> and Christian Walton<\/a> could play their final games for Rovers.<\/p>\n

Luton collected a tremendous win at Ewood Park back in September. Goals from James Collins<\/a> and Matty Pearson<\/a> sealed victory that day. Luton will be desperate to complete the league double.<\/p>\n

Luton simply have to go for it. They have to win to enhance their survival chances. A third win in four games is the target for Nathan Jones and his team. Blackburn have nothing to play for but could finish the season with back to back wins.<\/p>\n
