Birmingham City<\/a> teenager Jude Bellingham<\/a> has snubbed a move to Manchester United<\/a> by signing for Borussia Dortmund<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jude Bellingham: From Birmingham to Germany<\/h3>\n

The transfer of Jude Bellingham from Birmingham City to Borussia Dortmund has been confirmed.<\/p>\n

He will link up with the German side on a deal worth at least \u00a326 million.<\/p>\n

The teenager has made 35 appearances for Birmingham City in the Championship so far this season. He has added four goals and two assists to City’s campaign too.<\/p>\n

Having made his debut aged just 16, the talented midfielder has drawn attention from several top European sides.<\/p>\n

Following months of speculation<\/a>, Bellingham’s move has been finalised.<\/p>\n

Dortmund have beaten the likes of Manchester United to secure the teenager’s signature.<\/p>\n

The German side have successfully landed the tricky midfielder,\u00a0seeing off reported competition from other European big hitters such as Bayern Munich<\/a> and Chelsea<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bellingham reportedly visited all of the clubs<\/a> recently before making his decision to join Dortmund.<\/p>\n

Quickly Developing Teen<\/h3>\n

Jude Bellingham has shot into the headlines after rapidly rising through the ranks at Birmingham City.<\/p>\n

The teenager – who turned 17 last month – became the Blues’ youngest-ever player after making his debut aged just 16 years and 38 days.<\/p>\n

Since his first appearance for the Midlands side, in the Carabao Cup, Bellingham<\/a> has established himself within Pep Clotet<\/a>‘s side.<\/p>\n

And he has continued to impress in his central midfield role and has also offered a service on the left or right.<\/p>\n

Verdict<\/h3>\n

A move to Borussia Dortmund will hardly hinder Bellingham’s development.<\/p>\n

Had the midfielder opted for a move to a Premier League big gun, football fans would have likely seen Bellingham return to the Championship on a loan deal.<\/p>\n

But the teenager has clearly put his chances of development at the forefront of his thinking.<\/p>\n

Dortmund have a clear history of developing young footballers.\u00a0He will link up with fellow English forward, Jadon Sancho.<\/a> The 20-year-old made a similar move from England to Germany in 2017 from Manchester City<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dortmund’s young squad also contains young talents like Erling Haaland and Giovanni Reyna<\/a>, who continue to flourish under Lucien Favre.<\/p>\n

The midfielder may be heading overseas, but this will not be the last we hear of him.<\/p>\n
