The stage is set for Paulo Dybala<\/a> to sign a contract extension at Juventus until 2025. The new contract would greatly increase his wages, according to TuttoSport<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old could become the club’s second top earner, behind five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.<\/a> His leadership is a great asset to the club, on top of his footballing abilities.<\/p>\n

REPORT: Paulo Dybala to Sign Contract Extension<\/h2>\n

Reworking the Finances<\/h3>\n

The reported deal is set to be between \u20ac10 and \u20ac12 million, which would make him the second-highest-paid player at Juventus. Currently, Dybala earns \u20ac7.5 million.<\/p>\n

It is supposed to be signed between the end of the current league season and the start of the\u00a0Champions League Final eight tournament<\/a>\u00a0in Lisbon.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0La Gazetta Dello Sport<\/a>, the Argentines demands require the club to adjust their finances. Some players could be on their way out to allow for more room in the wage budget.<\/p>\n

For instance, Miralem Pjanic<\/a> is linked with Barcelona, in what could be a swap deal<\/a> including Arthur Melo. 32-year-old Gonzalo Higuain<\/a> is also no longer required at the club. Indeed, Ronaldo and Dybala are very talented forward options.<\/p>\n

A Future Leader<\/h3>\n

Dybala is destined to become a leader at Juventus over the next few years. In fact, the attacking midfielder has worn the armband on multiple occasions for the Italian side.<\/p>\n

According to Fabio Paratici, Juve’s Chief Football Officer, “There has always been trust in Paulo”. They are “talking continuously with its managers. He is an important player, we made an important investment when he came”. In his words, he is “the future of Juve”.<\/p>\n

Paulo Dybala seems very close to securing his future in Turin. The Argentinian looks to be a leader for I Bianconeri<\/em>\u00a0for years to come.<\/p>\n
