Zlatan Ibrahimovic<\/a> revealed that talks have not taken place about his future at AC Milan<\/a> yet.<\/p>\n

In an interview with\u00a0Sky Sports<\/a>, the 38-year-old striker spoke about his future at the Serie A club. He joined the Red and Blacks from LA Galaxy for a second spell in December 2019.<\/p>\n

Zlatan Ibrahimovic: No AC Milan Extension Offer<\/h2>\n

No Talks for Zlatan<\/h3>\n

Ibrahimovic explained that he has not spoken to AC Milan about the prospect of extending his contract beyond this season.<\/p>\n

An extension is available as part of his current deal in Italy.<\/p>\n

The Swedish striker made 14 appearances for Rossoneri in all competitions this season, scoring six and making three assists.<\/p>\n

On his future, Ibrahimovic said: <\/a>“I continue to play only if I can bring results. I’m not a mascot,<\/p>\n

“Next year? Let’s see, I still have three weeks of [my] contract. Nobody started talking about the future, on my part or from Milan. Here nothing is known about the future now. Let’s play and finish as best we can, then let’s see.<\/p>\n

“There is no one as strong as Ibra. It depends on the club, not just me.”<\/p>\n

With current RB Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick expected to join Milan<\/a>, Ibrahimovic’s future, along with other Milan players, may hinge on the German\u2019s decisions.<\/p>\n

On Rangnick, Ibrahimovic said<\/a>: “I don’t know Rangnick and I don’t know if he is coming. They didn’t say anything to us, I don’t know if it’s official.”<\/p>\n

Return Spell to Milan<\/h3>\n

It is clear that Ibrahimovic wants to remain in Milan if possible, but not as a bit-part member of the squad.<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old maintains strong links with the club where he spent two seasons between 2010 and 2012.<\/p>\n

Ibrahimovic scored 42 Serie A<\/a> goals across two seasons for Milan in his first spell. He won the Serie A Golden Boot in the 2011\/12 season for his 28 goals.<\/p>\n

He also lifted the Scudetto in 2011 with Milan and the Supercoppa in 2012.<\/p>\n
