Bradford Cit<\/a>y have made their first signing of the summer, confirming the arrival of Levi Sutton<\/a> on a two-year deal.<\/p>\n

While he is predominantly a midfielder, the 23-year-old can also operate in defence.<\/p>\n

Sutton began his career with fellow League Two side Scunthorpe United, from whom he joins from.<\/p>\n

He made his debut for the Lincolshire based side in a 6-0 win over Swindon Town towards the end of the 2015\/16 season.<\/p>\n

The highly-rated midfielder continued to ease his way into the first-team at Glanford Park, and his chance came in the 2018\/19 season following two loan spells.\u00a0Sutton made 19 appearances for the Iron, registering his first goal for the Club in the process.<\/p>\n

Last season saw him become an established first-team member in Russ Wilcox side. He made 19 appearances in all competitions, as Scunthorpe finished 21st in League Two.<\/p>\n

What Was Said<\/h3>\n

Speaking to the official Bradford City website<\/a> about his move, Levi Sutton said: \u00a0\u201cI am delighted to be here. I am looking forward to hopefully being a part of a successful team, which I feel we will be.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a massive club which should not be in League Two.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will give 110% while here and cannot wait to hopefully be playing soon, in front of all our supporters.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Stuart McCall, who managed Sutton during his time at Glanford Park, said: \u201cI worked with Levi at Scunthorpe and was really surprised when I saw he had been released. I know they had made him an offer, prior to COVID-19.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is a whole-hearted and totally committed lad with a real desire to be a footballer, which we want.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a little edge to him and I know he will give everything he has got, as well as being able to play in a number of positions.\u201d<\/p>\n
