Tahith Chong could leave Manchester United<\/a> on a loan deal this summer. Speaking exclusively to <\/a>Stretty News,\u00a0<\/em>Chong’s agent Jonathan Barnett revealed that his client should consider a move to further his development. The Dutchman recently signed a new deal with the club, but his lack of minutes means that a temporary move could be the best move for all parties.<\/p>\n

Tahith Chong Could Be Loaned Out By Manchester United<\/h2>\n

Chong signed for Manchester United from Feyenoord in 2016. He immediately made a big impact in the youth sides and has been highly rated ever since. He is one of the players tipped for a big future, alongside Mason Greenwood<\/a> and the recently departed Angel Gomes.<\/a><\/p>\n

The 20-year-old winger made his senior debut in 2019 as he came off the bench in United’s FA Cup victory over Reading. Chong also featured in United’s famous Champions League<\/a> victory over Paris Saint-Germain<\/a>. He came on for the final ten minutes in the dramatic comeback win.<\/p>\n

Despite being a highly rated starlet, Chong only has 15 senior appearances to his name. At 20-years-old, this is not promising, therefore, talk of a loan move is sensible.<\/p>\n

Jonathan Barnett, who also represents Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale<\/a>, spoke to\u00a0Stretty News<\/em> about Chong’s future.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe believes,\u201d he said.\u00a0\u201cWe all believe that he has a future there. I think he\u2019s a great talent.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut he needs to be playing games and if that means going out on loan then maybe that\u2019s something which we need to be talking about.\u201d<\/p>\n

Opportunity to Impress<\/h3>\n

If Chong was to leave on loan, he would have plenty of eyes on his performances. A young player with his reputation would not be short of interest. His ability to change a game with a piece of magic could prove vital for plenty of Championship clubs.<\/p>\n

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not afraid of giving young players a chance to shine. This season has seen Mason Greenwood and Brandon Williams<\/a> given big roles in the first team. Chong will be keen to impress to force his way into the manager’s thinking.<\/p>\n

Marcus Rashford<\/a>, Anthony Martial<\/a>, and Mason Greenwood are currently scoring for fun. However, if Chong manages to get regular first-team football, there is no reason why he cannot set his sights on one of their places, given his immense potential.<\/p>\n
