The highly-rated 17-year-old was eligible to sign professional terms with the Reds after turning 17 back in April.<\/p>\n<h2>Harvey Elliott Signs Professional Deal at Liverpool<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\u270d\ufe0f Harvey Elliott has signed his first professional contract with the Reds \ud83d\udd34<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Liverpool FC (Premier League Champions \ud83c\udfc6) (@LFC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LFC\/status\/1280139224818352129?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">July 6, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h3>&#8216;A Dream Come True&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>Elliott, the club&#8217;s second-youngest debutant, joined Liverpool from <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/clubs\/fulham\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fulham<\/a> last summer and went on to appear eight times across the course of this season.<\/p>\n<p>Along with Neco Williams and Curtis Jones, he is in a trio of players pushing to be the next to break through into the first team on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the club website about his new contract, Elliott said: \u201cI think since the first day I&#8217;ve walked in, it&#8217;s been an indescribable journey so far.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think now to top it off with my first professional contract is a dream come true for me and my family. I&#8217;m excited to see what the future holds and I&#8217;m just excited to give everything to the club and the fans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The teenager made his debut for the Reds in last September&#8217;s Carabao Cup tie away at MK Dons. While he did not get on the scoresheet, he put in an impressive performance and should have had two on the night.<\/p>\n<p>His most recent outing was in the 4-0 win against <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/clubs\/crystal-palace\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Crystal Palace<\/a>, the game that effectively secured Liverpool their first league title for 30 years.<\/p>\n<p>Elliott also featured heavily in the 5-5 draw against <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/clubs\/arsenal\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arsenal<\/a> in the Carabao Cup, which Liverpool&#8217;s youngsters went on to win 5-4 on penalties.
