Wolverhampton Wanderers <\/a>host Arsenal<\/a> this weekend in an important match for their Champions League hopes.<\/p>\n

Nuno Espirito Santo will hope that, on his 150th match in charge at Molineux, his side can make it four straight wins against a revived Arsenal – a\u00a0feat not achieved by a Wolves side in the top-flight since 1972.<\/p>\n

Despite a concerning restart by the Gunners, they’ve won their last three matches and were impressive in their 4-0 win over Norwich City<\/a> on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

A win in the 5:30 pm kick-off could see Wolves momentarily move into the top four.<\/p>\n

Arsenal Need to Break Down the Wolves Wall<\/h3>\n

If Mikel Arteta’s<\/a> side wishes to continue their resurgence in form then, they will have to find a way through Wolves’ seemingly watertight defence. The Midlands club have not conceded since Premier League football returned.<\/p>\n

Currently sat in sixth-place, Wolves have been remarkably efficient in their last three matches, scoring just four goals.<\/p>\n

Arsenal, who sit in eighth-place and are six points adrift of their hosts, have not won consecutive away matches since August.<\/p>\n

However, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang<\/a> scored twice and set up another in their demolition of Norwich; if the striker continues his good form then Arsenal may provide a stern test for Nuno’s side.<\/p>\n

The Gabon international currently sits tied for the golden boot on 19 goals; he needs just one more to join Thierry Henry<\/a> as the only Arsenal players to score 20 goals in consecutive Premier League seasons.<\/p>\n

Wolves Impressive Against the Top Teams<\/h3>\n

Wolves have a superb record against last season’s top five teams, having yet to lose to any of them.<\/p>\n

The Wanderers have won five and drawn seven against the league’s best.<\/p>\n

A key part of this success is Raul Jimenez<\/a>; the Mexican striker is the Premier League’s top-scoring player in all competitions this season with 24 goals.<\/p>\n

The reverse fixture, that took place all the way back in November, ended in a 1-1 stalemate with both Aubameyang and Jimenez on the scoresheet.<\/p>\n

Including the clash at the Emirates, Wolves are unbeaten against the Gunners in three matches.<\/p>\n

Lucas Torreira<\/a> is likely to return to the Arsenal side after recovering from an ankle injury whilst Adama Traore<\/a> could be handed a start following impressive performances<\/a> off the bench for Wolves.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen if there are spaces in the Gunners squad for Mesut Ozil<\/a> and Matteo Guendouzi<\/a>.<\/p>\n
