James Garner is reportedly drawing interest from a number of Championship<\/a> clubs since emerging into the Manchester United<\/a> team.<\/p>\n

Championship Loan Likely<\/h3>\n

Garner has adopted a greater role within the squad at United since returning to train with them after football’s suspension.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old midfielder has impressed the top dogs at United while featuring for the Under-23s this season.<\/p>\n

With an array of finishing styles and an apparent quality in midfield, the teenager is set to head on-loan according to Laurie Whitwell of The Athletic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In his last Under-23s outing before lockdown, Garner netted an exquisite brace at Stoke City<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And, since football’s return, boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer<\/a> has integrated him into the first-team.<\/p>\n

He has, however, struggled to break into the first-team and, therefore, a loan spell is likely according to Whitwell.<\/p>\n

Under-23 manager Neil Wood believes a loan spell away from Old Trafford would be beneficial to Garner’s development.<\/p>\n

He said: “Jimmy has been around first-team training throughout the season. He has trained with them then come back with us.<\/p>\n

“The opportunity is there for him. That said, there is a lot of experience in the manager and coaching staff and if they feel like a loan would suit him, I definitely think it would be important to get him the right club.<\/p>\n

“I think it would be a good test for him to go out play regularly; one or two games a week if he drops down to the Championship.”<\/p>\n

Garner was close to making a loan move to Blackpool<\/a> in January, but that transfer fell through.<\/p>\n

The midfielder is, however, attracting interest from Swansea City<\/a>, Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> and Queens Park Rangers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Garner made his United debut away to Partizan Belgrade in October, before featuring against Norwich City<\/a> in the Premier League<\/a> days later.<\/p>\n
