Hull City<\/a> have completed the permanent signing of winger Mallik Wilks. Wilks initially arrived on loan from Barnsley<\/a> in January but now the Tigers have made that temporary move permanent.<\/p>\n

Wilks will be available for the remainder of the season as Hull battle to avoid relegation from the Championship<\/a><\/p>\n

Hull City Sign Mallik Wilks On A Permanent Deal<\/h2>\n

Wilks Joins For An Undisclosed Fee From Barnsley<\/h3>\n

Hull have signed Wilks on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal.<\/p>\n

Wilks is available for their vital game against fellow strugglers Middlesbrough<\/a> this evening. He will also be available for the remainder of the season after his loan was extended before the deal becomes permanent.<\/p>\n

Wilks has scored three goals in twelve games for the Tigers since switching from Yorkshire rivals Barnsley. The step up to the Championship has proved difficult for Wilks but he has shown his quality at times.<\/p>\n

Wilks\u2019 permanent move continues his excellent relationship with Hull manager Grant McCann<\/a>. This will officially be the third time McCann has signed the 21-year-old.<\/p>\n

Wilks impressed in McCann\u2019s exciting Doncaster Rovers side which were beaten in the 2018\/19 League One play-off semi-finals.<\/p>\n

Those performances earned him a move to Barnsley from first club Leeds United<\/a>. However, he struggled to settle with the Tykes and reunited with McCann in January. Wilks has been a regular in the side certainly since Kamil Grosicki<\/a> and Jarrod Bowen departed the club.<\/p>\n

The talented attacker is tasked with scoring the goals to help Hull City avoid Championship relegation. They begin tonight\u2019s must-win game with Middlesbrough in the bottom three.<\/p>\n

Wilks is likely to be involved and McCann will be hoping Wilks can recapture the form he showed at Doncaster Rovers<\/a>.<\/p>\n
