The tests took place in all three divisions from a total of 32 clubs, but all have come back negative.<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\">No New Cases of Coronavirus at EFL Clubs<\/h2>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Championship<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Of the three leagues that the EFL govern, the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/category\/league-football\/championship\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Championship<\/a> is the only division in which all team&#8217;s are fulfilling the remaining fixture.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">From the latest round of testing, 2798 players and club staff from all 24 Championship side&#8217;s were tested, with all results coming back negative.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Ahead of another busy round of fixtures, it is good news for the division. There are six more rounds of matches left to play.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">League One<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A ball hasn&#8217;t been kicked in League One in over four months and the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/2020\/06\/09\/efl-league-one-and-league-two-seasons-ended-early\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EFL decided to curtail the season,<\/a> ending it with a four-team playoff. This Friday sees the return of the division when the playoffs begin.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/search\/Oxford+United\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oxford United<\/a> travel to <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/search\/Portsmouth\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Portsmouth<\/a>, while Fleetwood Town host Wycombe Wanderers.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The EFL tested 311 players and club staff from the four League One Clubs over the course of the past week, with all tests coming back negative. For <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/2020\/06\/12\/oxford-united-confirm-two-positive-coronavirus-tests\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oxford<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/2020\/06\/10\/portsmouth-confirm-two-positive-coronavirus-cases\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Portsmouth<\/a>, it is good news as they have both previously received two positive tests from two individuals at the club last month.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">League Two<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Unlike the playoffs in League One which are just about to begin, the playoffs in League Two have already finished.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/2020\/06\/30\/northampton-town-boss-keith-curle-says-he-needed-promotion\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Northampton Town<\/a> have won promotion to League One following a comprehensive 4-0 victory against Exeter City in the final at Wembley.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">But, 154 players and club staff from four League Two clubs, including the beaten semi-finalists Colchester United and Cheltenham Town, all came back with negative tests.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Main Photo<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><a id=\"sVUyABMNTMhtIOIqdbZS1g\" class=\"gie-single\" style=\"color: #a7a7a7; text-decoration: none; font-weight: normal !important; border: none; display: inline-block;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gettyimages.co.uk\/detail\/1251018909\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Embed from Getty Images<\/a><script>window.gie=window.gie||function(c){(gie.q=gie.q||[]).push(c)};gie(function(){gie.widgets.load({id:'sVUyABMNTMhtIOIqdbZS1g',sig:'2CiFY9zzCug4iaWFwuOUNS_B5iQm3fd_1sUnd3bInC0=',w:'594px',h:'437px',items:'1251018909',caption: true ,tld:'co.uk',is360: false })});<\/script><script src='\/\/embed-cdn.gettyimages.com\/widgets.js' charset='utf-8' async><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The English Football League (EFL) have announced no new cases of coronavirus following the latest round of testing.
