At 20 years of age, K.A.A. Gent player Jonathan David has established himself amongst North America’s most promising players. An amateur two years ago, the midfielder now has top teams from all across Europe interested in his qualities. Germany looks to be at the top of the list for his next move. This season, the attacking midfielder has contributed to 33 goals in all competitions; he has scored 23 himself for his club. 18 of these goals came in the Belgian Jupiler League, making him joint top scorer with Royal Antwerp player Dieumerci Mbokani. He has also helped Gent get through the Europa League<\/a> qualification rounds. They finished top of Group I.
