Young Charlton Athletic pair Josh Davison and Albie Morgan have signed new long-term contracts at the club. Twenty-year-old Morgan has signed a three-year deal while Davison, also 20, signs a two-year contract with the option of a third year.<\/p>\n
Davison’s route into the first-team at Charlton has been far from traditional. He was signed by the Addicks academy from Enfield Town in 2019 but impressed when he was handed a chance in the first team. His first goal came in the 2-2 draw against West Bromwich Albion<\/a> earlier in the season.<\/p>\n Morgan, meanwhile, has worked his way through the academy at the club having joined at the age of nine. He has made a total of 23 appearances for Charlton since making his debut against Shrewsbury Town.<\/p>\n Speaking about his contract, Davison told the club website<\/a>: “I’m buzzing to sign the deal.
