Both will fancy their chances in this important derby. Lancashire pride is also on the line as both target bragging rights.<\/p>\n

Wigan head into this crucial Lancashire derby targeting another three points to edge them closer to Championship<\/a> safety. The Latics have carried their form prior to the league suspension into the final run-in.<\/p>\n

They are unbeaten in seven and have won four of their last five games. Their amazing turnaround has seen them climb up to 17th<\/sup> but they remain just three points clear of the relegation zone.<\/p>\n

Wigan remain without defender Chey Dunkley who continues to recover from a broken leg. Gavin Massey missed the win at Huddersfield and will be assessed ahead of the game.<\/p>\n

Tony Mowbray\u2019s team are basking in excellent form and will hope to maintain that this weekend. Victory for Rovers could see them climb into the play-off places. They will climb the table if they win because Preston<\/a> North End<\/a> and Cardiff City<\/a>, who sit sixth and seventh, face each other at Deepdale.<\/p>\n

John Buckley serves the second of a two-match ban meaning he will be unavailable.<\/p>\n
