The fate of the Manchester United<\/a> academy players has been announced<\/a> looking ahead to next season.<\/p>\n

Nine players are leaving the club following the expiry of their contracts.<\/p>\n

Largie Ramazani to Move On<\/h3>\n

With 13 Premier League 2 appearances and nine goals, Largie Ramazani<\/a> will be moving on despite the offer of a new contract.<\/p>\n

Ramazani is a fan favourite but the skilful player requested higher wages and his demand has not been met, a club official told Manchester Evening News<\/em><\/a>. He is expected to join a second division Spanish side.<\/p>\n

Other Players to Be Released<\/h3>\n

After a recent injury stunting his progress, Demetri Mitchell<\/a> will also be leaving the team. He may have some luck with Championship<\/a> sides next season.<\/p>\n

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson<\/a>, Alex Fojticek, Ethan Hamiton, Kieran O’Hara and George Tanner<\/a> will all be leaving after seasons out on loan.<\/p>\n

Aidan Barlow<\/a> and Dion McGee will be leaving United<\/a>‘s Under 23s side.<\/p>\n

The club states it wants to support outgoing players. The majority have been offered financial support until the end of August. Additionally, a ‘care package’ which\u00a0includes allowing them to keep using the training facilities through pre-season.<\/p>\n

No players aged under 19 have been released. This is in part due to the worry about releasing these young players during this coronavirus crisis.<\/p>\n

Angel Gomes Deal Still on Table<\/h3>\n

Angel Gomes will soon be out of contract, but a new deal is still on the table. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said that he had no update on the situation as of two days ago.<\/p>\n

“For me, I’ve not spoken to anyone last night or this morning,” Solskjaer said<\/a>. “So the paperwork and the admin, the meetings that are going on, I can’t update on that.”<\/p>\n
