Chelsea<\/a> boss Frank Lampard says there has been no bid<\/a> from the club for Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz. The German sensation has been heavily linked<\/a> with a move to the Blues for a while but the boss insists there has not been a formal bid lodged by the club.<\/p>\n

Lampard was speaking over Zoom at his press conference ahead of Chelsea’s game against Manchester City<\/a> tomorrow night.<\/p>\n

When asked if Chelsea were pursuing him, Lampard kept the answer brief, saying<\/a>: “He is obviously a top player but we are not going to comment on players of other teams. No bids have gone in.”<\/p>\n
