Mohamed Salah<\/a> and Andrew Robertson<\/a> will return for Liverpool <\/a>against Crystal Palace<\/a> after an injury layoff. The duo were unavailable for the game against Everton<\/a> and the Reds missed their presence as they struggled to create chances in a 0-0 draw.<\/p>\n

However, it\u2019s not all good news as Jurgen Klopp confirmed<\/a> that Joel Matip<\/a> and James Milner<\/a> will miss the tie against Roy Hodgson’s side.<\/p>\n

Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson Fit for Crystal Palace Encounter<\/h2>\n

The Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson Comeback<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s without a shadow of a doubt that the return of Salah and Robertson is incredibly good news for Liverpool. They severely missed both of them against Everton.<\/p>\n

The Reds struggled in the final third. Despite dominating possession, they lacked a killer final ball or deadly finisher. Liverpool failed to create a single ‘big chance’ without them.<\/p>\n

Both Salah and Robertson should help alleviate that problem.<\/p>\n

Salah is a deadly finisher, which is shown by his back-to-back Premier League golden boot awards along with the 16 goals he has scored in the league this season. The Egyptian has also assisted six goals and knits the front three together in a way that cannot be accomplished by another player.<\/p>\n

Andrew Robertson, on the other hand, is an assist machine. The full-back\u2019s crisp passes are responsible for seven assists this season in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Joel Matip and James Milner Injury<\/h3>\n

Both Joel Matip and James Milner will miss Liverpool\u2019s game against Crystal Palace. Milner has a hamstring issue while Matip is struggling with a toe injury.<\/p>\n

The diagnosis is much more favourable for Milner.<\/p>\n

\u201cMillie felt a hamstring a little bit, but we had this in the past. Millie is not often injured, and hopefully, it is not serious. He is smart enough to show up in the moment when he feels it, so hopefully, it was the right moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe not Wednesday [he will be available for], but after that, I would hope for,\u201d Klopp told<\/a> reporters following the Everton game.<\/p>\n

The Englishman has been key to Liverpool this season. He has expertly knitted the midfield together this season and provided two goals and two assists. More importantly, he is a leader on the pitch who helps the team mentally get through the tougher moments of games.<\/p>\n

The news for Matip is more uncertain.<\/p>\n

\u201cJoel was unlucky, and we had to make a quick decision. It was a situation with Richarlison, and he bent or stretched or his big toe.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think a lot of people have had that; it is really painful, but hopefully it settles, the pain settles, and then we will see. I hope nothing serious has happened, but I don\u2019t know yet,\u201d Klopp said.<\/p>\n

This continues a trend for the defender. He has already missed 20 games this season due to injury. Liverpool fans will be hoping for his quick return as an absence may mean more game time for Dejan Lovren<\/a>. The Croatian has already almost cost Liverpool dearly as he made several errors against Everton that could have led to goals.<\/p>\n
