Liverpool<\/a> goalkeeper Alisson was described as “world-class” after displaying heroics to keep the scores level against Everton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Klopp: ‘We Should Not Take Him for Granted’<\/h3>\n

Jurgen Klopp<\/a> heaped the praised onto his goalkeeper after Alisson’s late save denied Everton a winner at Goodison Park.<\/p>\n

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s deft touch was stopped excellently by Alisson before Tom Davies struck the loose ball onto the post.<\/p>\n

It proved to be the best chance in a game of few attacking moments as Liverpool and Everton shared a rare goalless derby.<\/p>\n

Klopp highlighted Alisson’s role after the match, saying: “We should not take him [Alisson] for granted.<\/p>\n

“Absolutely outstanding. That’s what a world-class goalkeeper is – nothing to do for pretty much 90 minutes then he’s there.”<\/p>\n

The draw leaves Liverpool needing just five points to clinch their first Premier League<\/a> title in 30 years.<\/p>\n

And the Reds could possibly wrap up the title against Crystal Palace<\/a> at Anfield on Wednesday – but Klopp’s side must rely on Manchester City<\/a> dropping points at home to Burnley<\/a> on Monday.<\/p>\n

Liverpool were without full-back Andy Robertson – and Mohamed Salah<\/a> was only fit enough for the bench – as the Reds saw plenty of the ball but were unable to beat Jordan Pickford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Klopp will also now have concerns over James Milner<\/a>, who picked up a hamstring injury, and Joel Matip<\/a> who also limped off.<\/p>\n

Six shots on-target were shared equally among the two sides as neither side proved they deserved to win.<\/p>\n

And the point taken was described as a fair reflection by Klopp.<\/p>\n

“The point is one we deserve,” he said. “Everton were well organised so we had to run a lot but we looked fit and ready.<\/p>\n

“Now we’ve got three days. Crystal Palace looked good on Saturday and we have to make sure we are ready for Wednesday.”<\/p>\n
