Bolton Wanderers<\/a> have announced manager Keith Hill and his assistant David Flitcroft will leave at the end of their contracts. Hill and Flitcroft arrived last August following Football Ventures takeover of the club.<\/p>\n

Hill leaves after less than a year and confirmation of Bolton\u2019s relegation to League Two.<\/p>\n

Bolton announced via their website<\/a> manager Keith Hill and his assistant David Flitcroft will leave the club at the end of June when their contracts expire. The club have decided not to offer the pair new deals.<\/p>\n

Hill arrived as Football Ventures first managerial appointment following their protracted takeover of the club last summer. He was given an impossible task of trying to keep Bolton in League One, following a 12-point deduction handed to the club for entering administration.<\/p>\n

The experienced Hill won six of his 35 matches in charge of the Trotters but was unable to spare Bolton from relegation. He departs after less than a year in charge as Bolton\u2019s owners prepare for life in the fourth tier of English football.<\/p>\n

Hill and Flitcroft\u2019s departure follows Chief Executive Emma Beaugeard\u2019s<\/a> decision to quit her role at the club.<\/p>\n

In a statement released on their website, Bolton chairman Sharon Brittain said: \u201cOn behalf of the board I would like to thank Keith and David for their work since being appointed last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cFollowing on from this week’s announcement by the EFL and confirmation that Bolton Wanderers will be playing in Sky Bet League Two next season, we believe it to be in the best interests of the Club that we have a fresh approach to our management and coaching structure for the next season and beyond.<\/p>\n

Bolton Putting Plans in Place for League Two<\/h3>\n

The Trotters\u2019 preparation for League Two is well underway following the news of Keith Hill\u2019s departure. The search will begin to replace the experienced Hill. Certainly, they will have to make the right appointment with promotion high on their agenda next season.<\/p>\n

Another summer of transition and change lies ahead for Bolton Wanderers.<\/p>\n
