Inter Milan are in talks with Brescia for Italian youngster Sandro Tonali<\/a>. The 20-year-old seems to have his heart set on a move to the Nerazzurri. According to Fabrizio Romano<\/a>, talks are ongoing between both clubs looking to agree on a fee for the young talent.<\/p>\n

Inter Building for the Future<\/h3>\n

The Milan clubs have a good relationship with Brescia as former San Siro greats like the Baresi brothers and Andrea Pirlo hail from Brescia.<\/p>\n

Antonio Conte has been given the task of bringing Inter back to the top of Serie A and before the break-in play were in a title race. However, their form has dipped with Lazio and Juventus starting to pull away.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Conte is looking to the future and is looking to add some gile into their midfield and Tonali<\/a> is the perfect fit. Brescia\u2019s number four is said the be Pirlo\u2019s heir who Conte has managed before.<\/p>\n

Where Would Tonali Fit?<\/h3>\n

Tonali will fit perfectly alongside the likes of Nicol\u00f2 Barella<\/a>. Inter deploy a 3-5-2 with Christian Eriksen<\/a>, Barella, Marcelo Brozovic<\/a> and Stefano Sensi<\/a> making up the engine room. He might not be a starter, but judging by some of his performances this season he\u2019s more than capable of competing for a starting spot.<\/p>\n

His passing and ability to create has caught the eye of the top clubs around Europe. His expected assists (xA) of 4.30<\/a> is the third highest in the league. Tonali often tries to play incisive passes through defensive lines which is music to the ears of the goal-scoring duo that it Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez<\/a>. He\u2019s also incredibly hard to get the ball off and has drawn the fourth\u00a0most fouls per 90<\/a> in Serie A.<\/p>\n

With Brescia likely to relegated, Inter could get him at a lower price. Considering how high Tonali\u2019s ceiling, it\u2019s a fantastic investment. It\u2019s a step up the young Italian is ready for and he could be a key figure for inter if he joins.<\/p>\n
