Marash Kumbulla<\/a> will cost clubs in excess of \u00a325 million to move away from Hellas Verona this summer according to Gianluca Di Marzio.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

The highly-rated centre back appears to be attracting interest from a host of clubs across Europe.<\/p>\n

Marash Kumbulla Will Cost More Than \u00a325 Million<\/h2>\n

A Big Price Tag<\/h3>\n

Twenty-year-old Kumbulla played 18 games for Verona this season. He scored one goal before Serie A was suspended in March due to the Coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n

Kumbulla came through the academy at Verona. The centre-back made his first-team debut for Mastini at the beginning of last season in Serie B.<\/p>\n

The young prospect also represented Albania on the international stage. He made his debut last October in a European qualifying match against Moldova.<\/p>\n

Verona sporting director Tony D’Amico realises that Kumbulla will be well sought after this summer. But, he highlighted how the Albanian international’s price tag will be more than \u00a325 million.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Sky Sports, D’Amico said: “25 million? Kumbulla’s value is a bit higher. We are talking about a strong player who had an extraordinary season for a player his age.<\/p>\n

“He’ll have numerous proposals. But it’s early to talk about figures. We honoured to have a player like this come through our youth system”<\/p>\n

Inter Leading the Race<\/h3>\n

The Albanian’s strong start at Verona over the past two seasons sparked interest from high-profile clubs.<\/p>\n

Despite interest from around Europe for Kumbulla, Antonio Conte<\/a>‘s Inter Milan<\/a> appear to be leading the race for the 20-year-old.<\/p>\n

Serie A giants Inter first showed interest in Kumbulla during the January transfer window<\/a>. A deal had reportedly been offered by Inter. However, it appears that Kumbulla wants to consider his options before making a decision.<\/p>\n

Napoli also remain interested<\/a> in the 20-year-old’s signature. The Naples club reportedly submitted the same offer as Inter for Kumbulla recently.<\/p>\n
