The historic 2015\/16 Premier League campaign introduced Jamie Vardy<\/a> to the nation. He spearheaded Leicester City<\/a> to the Premier League title with 24 goals in the competition. The now 33-year-old is still one of the most deadly strikers in the league and currently has 19 goals – the most in the division.<\/p>\n

Considering his playstyle is based around his explosive pace; it is surprising that the striker is still operating at such a high level.<\/p>\n

While he is dangerous on the counter-attack when running at defences – Vardy is also a fox in the box. In fact, he has only scored once this campaign from outside of the area, against Bournemouth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The pass from Harvey Barnes<\/a> is played and Vardy can beat the defender to the ball and score from a tight angle.<\/p>\n

This type of run has been typical of Vardy in the Premier League since he joined. It shows that the striker still has the explosive nature which has helped him to 19 goals so far this season.<\/p>\n

The main factors that have allowed Jamie Vardy to flourish this season are the same ones that have helped him to get 99 Premier League goals in his career.<\/p>\n
