After a brief loan spell at Turkish club, Besiktas, Loris Karius<\/a> is set to cancel his two-year contract earlier than expected after a dispute over unpaid wages left the German unhappy as reported by the Guardian<\/a>. This means that a return to Liverpool<\/a> is on the horizon and a return to an experience Karius will want to forget. The Reds will have a big decision to make regarding the goalkeeper’s future at Anfield in the summer, with a potential exit on the cards.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

REPORT: Loris Karius Set For Wolves Loan\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

New Wolves Number 1?<\/h3>\n

According to the Daily Mail<\/a>, Wolves<\/a> are interested in the German on loan for next season, giving Karius a second chance in England, and the chance to finally forget his Champions League<\/a> nightmare in 2018. And the move would make sense Wolves with their current goalkeeper, Rui Patricio<\/a>, 32, approaching retirement with each passing season. Karius, however, is still only 26 and provides Wolves with a long term replacement for the Portuguese international.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The transfer would also be a risk-free one for Wolves with the loan move almost acting as a trial for the Liverpool goalkeeper. If Karius impresses, Wolves have a high chance of securing his services permanently and for a cut-price, getting a proven number one in the process. And if he fails to impress, they can simply say goodbye at the end of the loan spell.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other Options\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

With Liverpool’s current number two, Adrian<\/a>, recently struggling when asked to replace the injured Alisson<\/a>, Karius could be prefered to the Spaniard on the Liverpool bench. And prior to the calamity in the Champions League final, he wasn’t having a bad season and was beginning to win over plenty of fans. His ability on the ball was impressive and shot-stopping ability improving, but it simply wasn’t to be as he returned to his old, costly ways on the biggest of stages.<\/span><\/p>\n

A return to Liverpool or another Premier League<\/a> club could act as a redemption opportunity for Karius and a chance to finally turn the page in what has been a career full of moments to forget so far.<\/span><\/p>\n
