Manchester United<\/a> are making fast progress in their Sergej Milinkovic-Savic<\/a> chase, according to Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Paul Pogba<\/a> Might Be Leaving<\/h3>\n

Paul Pogba might be leaving United in the summer, and the Red Devils view Milinkovic-Savic as a perfect replacement.<\/p>\n

Frenchman Pogba rose through the ranks at Manchester United, before leaving for Juventus<\/a> when his contract expired in 2012.<\/p>\n

In Turin, he blossomed into a tremendous midfielder, exuding quality and class in the middle of the park. He attracted a lot of attention in his four-year spell in Italy, and despite interest<\/a> from Real Madrid<\/a>, Manchester United edged them out to re-sign him for a then-world-record \u00a389 million.<\/p>\n

Despite the incredibly high price, Pogba has not impacted the United team in a way they might have thought possible, and in the way that Bruno Fernandes<\/a> has managed since he arrived.<\/p>\n

Pogba struggled to establish a good run of form, with inconsistency an issue for him in a United shirt.<\/p>\n

Last season, he seemingly came into his own under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer<\/a>, with thirteen goals and nine assists. However, this season a recurring ankle injury has prohibited him from playing, managing just eight appearances in all competitions.<\/p>\n

Chasing Milinkovic-Savic<\/h3>\n

Super-agent Fali Ramadani is said to be acting on the part of United to bring the Serbian international to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Milinkovic-Savic has had an exceptional campaign this season, scoring four goals and assisting the same number in 25 appearances. He is a class player in midfield and one who United would love to get in their rebuild aiming towards winning the Premier League<\/a> title.<\/p>\n

United are now in negotiations with Milinkovic-Savic and his representatives. The Red Devils are likely to lose Pogba, according to the report, and the 25-year-old would be, in their eyes, a perfect replacement.<\/p>\n
