Manchester United<\/a> have been given hope in their chase for Bournemouth<\/a> duo Joshua King<\/a> and Callum Wilson<\/a> as the Cherries end their spending spree of a transfer policy, according to Alan Nixon of The Sun.<\/a><\/p>\n

Looking For a Striker<\/h3>\n

The Red Devils are looking for a striker in the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n

Current forward Anthony Martial<\/a> is, despite his undoubted quality, not a clinical striker. He\u00a0 may also be leaving in the summer,<\/a> with Inter Milan eyeing him as a replacement for Lautaro Martinez<\/a>, who could be on his way to Barcelona<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Odion Ighalo<\/a>, who is currently on loan at Old Trafford from Chinese side Shanghai Greenland Shenhua, is another option for the Manchester side up front. Although he has proven his ability to score goals, it is highly unlikely that he possesses the quality needed to be the first-choice goal-scorer for Manchester United, so they may need to look elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Harry Kane<\/a> has been one of the top candidates, having scored consistently for Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> for the last few years, but a \u00a3200 million price tag seems a little extreme.<\/p>\n

Wolverhampton Wanderers<\/a> star Raul Jim\u00e9nez<\/a> is another option. However, he has expressed<\/a> his desire to stay at Molineux, and with a long-term contract, it is unlikely they will let him go.<\/p>\n

Interest in Callum Wilson<\/h3>\n

Two other options they have come across are the Bournemouth pair.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils nearly signed King in January, but after the deal fell through they turned to former Watford<\/a> man Ighalo.<\/p>\n

They have been admirers of the pair for some time, though, and now have hope in their chase. While they may not be title-challenging quality, Wilson and King could be an interim replacement for Martial, should he leave, while they pursue a more pressing chase, that of Erling Braut H\u00e5land<\/a>.<\/p>\n
