Donny van de Beek<\/a> has made an unexpected admission regarding Manchester United<\/a> and Real Madrid<\/a> transfers, according to Jacob Murtagh of The Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Donny van de Beek Makes Unexpected Admission Regarding Manchester United and Real Madrid Transfers<\/h2>\n

Emerging as a World-Class Talent<\/h3>\n

Donny van de Beek has emerged as a world-class talent at Ajax, like so many other wonderkids.<\/p>\n

In 2015, van de Beek, then aged 18, made his debut for the Dutch side\u2019s first-team in the Europa League. He impressed and earned a first start, and first goal in the competition, as well as eight appearances in the Eredivisie.<\/p>\n

The following season saw him make 19 more appearances in the league, and a further ten in Europe, as well as two in the Netherlands\u2019 domestic cup.<\/p>\n

Continuing to gain first-team experience, van de Beek announced himself onto the scene in 2017\/18, with a tremendous campaign. The midfielder cemented himself in Ajax\u2019s first-team, not missing a game in the league. He scored 11 goals and made six assists, repaying the faith in him.<\/p>\n

In subsequent seasons, he has continued to impress, attracting interest<\/a> from Europe\u2019s elite clubs.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid\u2019s Unofficial Agreement<\/h3>\n

Real Madrid reportedly<\/a> agreed terms with Ajax over van de Beek\u2019s sale in January, and it seemed as if he would be heading to the Santa Bernab\u00e9u in the summer.<\/p>\n

With \u00a347 million the supposed fee, this was similar to how Barcelona<\/a> had lured\u00a0Frenkie de Jong<\/a> away from the Dutch side. They agreed on a fee in January, but let him see out the season with Ajax before making the move official in the summer.<\/p>\n

Van de Beek Unexpected Admission<\/h3>\n

As said by the Dutchman himself in an interview, there is no agreement between himself and the La Liga<\/a> giants, as he has not decided where his future lies. Manchester United would surely be next in line to snap him up should a move to the Spanish capital fall through.<\/p>\n

He told Helden magazine: “Playing in the sun is always nice, but no, I haven’t started taking Spanish classes.<\/p>\n

“I still haven’t said ‘yes’ to anyone, it’s all open. I know what I have here, I’m loved by Ajax and I love Ajax.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy feeling should be positive at a club, not only that they want me but also that I fit in their system of play.<\/p>\n

“Of course, I also want to know the game time they will give me.”<\/p>\n
