19-year-old Brandon Williams<\/a> may have saved Manchester United<\/a> roughly \u00a350 million, according to Daniel Cutts of the Sun<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Struggling at Left-Back<\/h3>\n

Manchester United have struggled at left-back ever since Luke Shaw<\/a> broke his leg in 2015.<\/p>\n

The Englishman became the most expensive teenager in history when he joined the Red Devils from Southampton<\/a> in 2014 and showed lots of promise in his opening season there.<\/p>\n

However, a leg break in the Champions League<\/a> group stage in 2015 sidelined him for the rest of the season and massively stunted what could have been a special career.<\/p>\n

Although Shaw has returned to being first choice in the position, the full-back hasn’t shown the promise or capabilities he once did.<\/p>\n

United have had difficulties at left-back ever since this occurred, and it looked as if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer<\/a> was going to do something about this in the summer. Until Brandon Williams arrived on the scene.<\/p>\n

Brandon Williams – A Fantastic Replacement, and More<\/h3>\n

Upon Shaw\u2019s hamstring injury at the beginning of the season, Ashley Young<\/a> stepped in to take his place. The experienced Englishman was solid as ever, but nothing special, so Solskjaer turned to Williams.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old came in and took to life in the first team by storm, scoring a goal in just his second start, on top of impressive displays. Having become a fan favourite immediately upon his first appearance, it is no surprise that Williams has gone on to become a regular in the starting XI.<\/p>\n

The full-back has appeared in seven of the Red Devils\u2019 last ten Premier League<\/a> matches, playing well in each. Furthermore, the added competition has seemingly improved Shaw<\/a>, who now looks a completely different player to the beginning of the season.<\/p>\n

Solskjaer\u2019s \u00a350 Million Plans Stopped by Brandon Williams<\/h3>\n

The Sun\u2019s report stated that Williams had recently held talks with the club over a new deal, and according to an Old Trafford source, the manager told Williams to \u201ckeep doing what he\u2019s doing\u201d and \u201ckeep his feet on the ground\u201d.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, he said that \u201cat the same time, Ole has stopped looking for a new left-back. Brandon has done enough\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cOle loves Brandon’s attitude and he will be here next season. The bosses think he will save them \u00a350m\u201d.<\/p>\n
