He&#8217;s also turned to the PFA for advice on player wage deferrals. It comes as the club looks to cut costs to cope with the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonfootball.com\/2020\/03\/19\/coronavirus-football-suspended-april-30\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">suspension of football.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Dejphon Chansiri Announces New Coronavirus Measures<\/h2>\n<h3>Non-playing Staff Will Get Full Pay<\/h3>\n<p>Senior officials contacted the staff on Monday to inform them of the measures, which are being put in place to safeguard the future of the club.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday released a statement on their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swfc.co.uk\/news\/2020\/march\/club-statement-31-march\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">club website:<\/a> &#8220;In the best interests of all staff and to help safeguard the future of the club, a significant number of employees are being furloughed as part of the government\u2019s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"adition-container\">\n<div id=\"adition-instance-4392435\" class=\"adition-instance adition-outstream\" data-adition-group=\"outstream\">&#8220;Remaining staff are working from home, with the main stadium and training ground locked down.<\/div>\n<div data-adition-group=\"outstream\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&#8220;The job retention scheme guarantees 80% of regular remuneration up to \u00a32,500 per month but SWFC chairman Dejphon Chansiri has pledged all furloughed members of staff will continue to receive full salary.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The landscape will be reviewed at the end of April as we digest fresh information on an almost daily basis in this fast-paced environment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Seeking Advice on Player Wage Deferrals<\/h3>\n<p>Wednesday have contacted the Professional Footballer&#8217;s Association to seek advice on player wage deferrals, as the lack of football has left all clubs with no matchday income. Although the Owls are unlikely to suffer as badly as sides further down the pyramid, the suspension of football will affect them more than most of their Championship rivals. The Yorkshire club <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestar.co.uk\/sport\/football\/sheffield-wednesday\/breaking-dejphon-chansiri-ensure-furloughed-sheffield-wednesday-staff-are-paid-full-wages-club-seek-advice-player-wage-deferral-2524428\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gained around 37%<\/a> of their total income from revenue at the last count &#8211; among the highest in the second tier.<\/p>\n<p>Alex Miller of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestar.co.uk\/sport\/football\/sheffield-wednesday\/breaking-dejphon-chansiri-ensure-furloughed-sheffield-wednesday-staff-are-paid-full-wages-club-seek-advice-player-wage-deferral-2524428\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Sheffield Star<\/a> reported that the EFL wrote to all member clubs last week and asked them not to resume training until April 14th at the earliest.
