Coventry City could lose a number of players to free transfers with the coronavirus pandemic causing immediate concern.<\/p>\n
The Sky Blues’ season will not continue until April 30 at the earliest but the suspension could run into the summer.<\/p>\n
Mark Robins has made Coventry one of the stand-out sides in League One<\/a>.<\/p>\n They enter the enforced break five points clear of second-placed Rotherham<\/a>, eight points clear of seventh-placed Sunderland<\/a>.<\/p>\n The lowest the Sky Blues have fallen in the standings this term is 10th and have been a firm promotion contender.<\/p>\n England U19 international Hiwula has made 15 appearances this season for the Sky Blues.<\/p>\n He has, however, not featured on the pitch since a substitute role in the 1-1 draw with Sunderland back in November 2019.<\/p>\n The 25-year-old has been touted as one to leave the Sky Blues having struggled for opportunities under Robins. It is likely, therefore, that he will assess his options this summer.<\/p>\n The 24-year-old struggled for form at the start of the season.<\/p>\n It took him eleven matches – four of which he was not involved – to bag the first of his five goals this season.<\/p>\n His performances did improve marginally before the enforced suspension but he ranks third – and fourth across the club – among his fellow forwards.<\/p>\n His impressive form this season makes it almost guaranteed that he will receive new terms regardless of promotion.<\/p>\n The exciting midfielder has been linked to <\/a>West Brom<\/a> and Derby County<\/a>\u00a0so could potentially have his head turned.<\/p>\n Allassani has had his professional career consistently blighted by injury.<\/p>\nJordy Hiwula<\/h4>\n
