Thomas Partey<\/a> has made a decision about his future amid interest from Manchester United<\/a> and Arsenal<\/a>, according to Spanish publication Sport<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Latest Development in Thomas Partey Chase as Ghanaian Makes Decision About Future<\/h2>\n

Manchester United\u2019s Thomas Partey Chase<\/h3>\n

Manchester United are looking into Thomas Partey, primarily as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Frenchman joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2016 for a world-record \u00a389 million but has failed to live up to the price.<\/p>\n

He has struggled to make the impact that the fee would suggest of him, and injury has plagued his time there. Most recently, he has had a recurring ankle injury, making just seven appearances in the Premier League<\/a>\u00a0as a result, and has failed to continue the great form he started last campaign.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid<\/a> and Juventus<\/a> have shown lots of interest<\/a> in the 27-year-old for some time, with many other European giants monitoring him, and he may leave in the summer, as the Red Devils as for \u00a3100 million.<\/p>\n

Partey would fill a more defensive role, but would still be a quality addition to the midfield. With United lacking a world-class defensive-midfielder, they are looking into many this summer, and although, Pogba can fill the position, Partey would be more suited to it.<\/p>\n

Arsenal\u2019s Interest in Partey<\/h3>\n

Arsenal also want Partey. With a weak defence, manager Mikel Arteta<\/a> will look to strengthen in the summer, and the Ghanan midfielder would be a great defensive addition. Despite this, the Gunners may prioritize the acquisition of a striker for next season, with many clubs interested<\/a> in star centre-forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Partey\u2019s Decision<\/h3>\n

It seems that Partey and Atletico Madrid are close to agreeing on a new deal. The Spanish sides are reluctant to let Partey go, and would struggle without him. Currently, the 26-year-old has a \u00a342 million release clause. However, this new deal would see that more than double, up to \u00a392 million, and would be a massive blow for both United and the Gunners in their bid to sign him.<\/p>\n
