The Arsenal Transfercast is a new podcast brought to you by Last Word On Football featuring writers Zach Rayment and Chance Haire as well as host and content manager Martin Hawkins.<\/p>\n

The Arsenal Transfercast Episode One<\/h2>\n

The podcast is split in two parts: part one focuses heavily on the latest transfer rumours surrounding Arsenal<\/a>. Our panel dissects and discusses each rumour to give you the best analyses three the can give.<\/p>\n

Part two is much more fun. The host, Martin, moderates a discussion between the writers and arbitrarily gives them points based on his subjective view on their discussion. Finally, the writers are given a quiz question and awarded more points based on the validity of their answers.<\/p>\n

At the end of the program, the winner gets a special prize. This week’s podcast covered:<\/p>\n

An introduction to the writers; who they are, where they’re from, what made them Arsenal fans, etc. Find out about Zach’s surprising ties to the Brazilian national team. Discover how Leicester City<\/a> inspired Chance to pursue football writing. Listen to Martin complain about the trophy drought.<\/p>\n

However, most of the pod was much more interesting! The team discusses Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang<\/a>‘s uncertain future in north London. They also tackle the rumour of the club giving David Luiz<\/a> a contract extension and come to what may be a surprising conclusion.<\/p>\n

Corentin Tolisso<\/a>, currently of Bayern Munich<\/a>, gets a mention. His goals and assists two years ago make the team wonder aloud if he is the long-awaited Aaron Ramsey<\/a> replacement.<\/p>\n

Loan players Dani Ceballos<\/a>, Pablo Mari<\/a> and Cedric Soares<\/a> are discussed to begin part two. The three are facing very different fates at the end of the season. Speaking of the season, the team also has their say about how the FA and UEFA should conclude the now-suspended campaign.<\/p>\n
