Bayern Munich<\/a> might lose David Alaba<\/a> amid Barcelona<\/a> and Real Madrid<\/a> interest, according to Christian Falk of Sportsbild<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Alaba\u2019s time at Bayern Munich<\/h3>\n

Bar a six-month loan spell at Hoffenheim, Alaba has spent his entire professional career at Bayern Munich. The Austrian international has been the Reds\u2019 first-choice left-back for almost the entirety of the last decade. He can also fill in at centre-back, where he has spent much of this campaign.<\/p>\n

In his 372 matches for Bayern, Alaba has scored 30 goals and assisted 48. He has been credited<\/a> with being the world\u2019s best left-back, but with his most recent comments, it is uncertain whether his future lies in Munich.<\/p>\n

What Alaba Said<\/h3>\n

Although he said<\/a> that he is happy with the Star of the South, Alaba can \u2018imagine taking a different path.<\/p>\n

Alaba has Barcelona and Real Madrid both interested in signing him, in addition to others like Chelsea<\/a>, and both clubs will fight hard to win the signature of the 27-year-old<\/p>\n

Bayern Munich Might Lose David Alaba with Real and Barca Fighting Over him<\/h3>\n

With just over a year left on his contract, Bayern have not yet offered Alaba a renewal. Due to this situation, the left-back could be up for sale for as little as \u20ac35-40m, despite transfermarkt<\/a> giving him a market value of over\u00a0\u20ac65.<\/p>\n

Alaba could help Barcelona a lot in the immediate future. Jordi Alba<\/a>, 31, is ageing despite still being the first choice, and J\u00fanior Firpo<\/a>, 23, is slowly making his way into the starting team. Alaba could provide a transition between the two, and a great one at that.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid have a similar situation. Marcelo<\/a> is ageing at 31, while Ferland Mendy<\/a> is an up and coming 24-year-old who is integrating into the first team. Alaba would be the perfect player to bridge the gap, as an excellent defender, while also giving the younger players a chance.<\/p>\n
