Despite <\/span>Los Blancos<\/span><\/i> having twice as many shots and shots on target throughout the game, <\/span>La Real<\/span><\/i> came out victorious. Upcoming Scandinavian superstars Martin \u00d6degaard and Alexander Isak<\/a> shining especially bright. The larger perspective of Real Madrid 3-4 Real Sociedad. People will look back to this game in years from now. Deriving conclusions to explain whatever reality the world of football finds itself in.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Larger Perspective of Real Madrid 3-4 Real Sociedad<\/h2>\n

In Defense of Real Madrid<\/h3>\n

It was a comparatively meaningless fixture for them. They undoubtedly value<\/span> La Liga<\/span><\/a> more than the<\/span> Copa Del Rey<\/span><\/a>, despite their seemingly solid squad. Nacho, Ramos, Marcelo, Modric, Kroos, Benzema among others. It was a proper squad, albeit one that lacked motivation. <\/span>Los Blancos<\/span><\/i> have entered an awkward transitional period following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo<\/a>. And even with this awkward transitioning, they’re managing quite well. However, nothing of this is to discredit Martin \u00d6degaard, Alexander Isak, Mikel Merino<\/a>, Imanol Alguacil and Real Sociedad in their entirety. In contrast, it’s highlighting how impressive their performance was.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But All Due Respect to Real Sociedad<\/h3>\n

One should be careful not to draw too many conclusions based on a single game of football. But that doesn’t mean we can’t give credit where credit is due and get a slight clue as to what the future has in store for the players involved. The opening goalscorer, Martin \u00d6degaard<\/a>. Along with Erling Braut H\u00e5land<\/a>, he is the shining beacon of Norway\u2019s future in football. Fellow Scandinavian Alexander Isak<\/a> was also a shining beacon throughout that game – but for Sweden, and he shone even brighter than the Norwegian star. It could’ve been a hattrick with his disallowed goal, but Isak would have to settle with a brace and two assists. The 2020s will be a decade of many things. There\u2019s little doubt in my mind that both Martin \u00d6degaard and Alexander Isak will play a major role and shaping the decade. At least from a footballing point of view.<\/span><\/p>\n
