Bristol City<\/a> have announced the signings of Markus Henriksen and Filip Benkovic. Midfielder Henriksen arrives on loan from Hull City<\/a> while defender Benkovic arrives on loan from Leicester City.<\/a> The Robins have also allowed Taylor Moore to join Blackpool on loan.<\/p>\n

Markus Henriksen Arrived First<\/h4>\n

Henriksen arrives on loan from Hull, while Benkovic joins on loan from Leicester. Both will stay at Ashton Gate until the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Henriksen is a player of Premier League experience and is a former club captain with the Tigers. Henriksen, a 27-year-old Norway international, began his career in his home country with Rosenborg where he twice won the Tippeligaen and Superfinalen. He represented AZ Alkmaar where he won the KNVB Cup before his move to Hull City.<\/p>\n

He has 54 caps for Norway and is in line to represent his country in March\u2019s UEFA Euro 2020 play-offs.<\/p>\n

Speaking about his new signing, manager Lee Johnson said:<\/a> \u201cMarkus is a great addition to our midfield, someone who gives us further attributes in the middle of the park and I believe he will have an important part to play in these final 18 matches.\u201d<\/p>\n

Filip Benkovic Arrives From Leicester<\/h4>\n

Benkovic arrives on loan from Leicester. He began his career at Dinamo Zagreb before joining Leicester. Benkovic had a productive year on loan at Celtic but has struggled to break into Brendan Rodgers\u2019 plans this season.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the Bristol City website<\/a>, Lee Johnson said: \u201cFilip is a fantastic talent and a player who will add to our defensive options. He will be a strong and physical presence for us as we kick on in this second half of the season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor Moore Departs Ashton Gate<\/h4>\n

Bristol City have also confirmed<\/a> the departure of defender Taylor Moore. The young defender who has impressed Lee Johnson this season will spend the rest of campaign at League One Blackpool.<\/p>\n

Lee Johnson said \u201cTaylor has had an impressive start to the season and to keep his development programme going forward this is a beneficial move. It is an opportunity for him to go and get more regular game time at a good level, which was key to the decision.\u201d<\/p>\n
