Crawley Town<\/a> manager John Yems has signed a new three-year deal at the club. Yems only returned to the club in December but the upturn in results and performances have warranted Crawley to give him a new deal.<\/p>\n

Crawley Announce John Yems Has Signed A New Deal<\/h2>\n

John Yems has agreed a new deal at Crawley which runs until the summer of 2023. He only returned in December to replace Gabriele Cioffi.<\/p>\n

Yems is firmly enjoying his second spell in charge of Crawley having last managed the club back in 2009. He is thoroughly delighted to be back.<\/p>\n

Crawley has vastly improved since Yems took over. They lost just twice in Yems\u2019 11 league games. He has got Crawley going and they find themselves in 13th<\/sup> place after their good run of results.<\/p>\n

Ollie Palmer is scoring the goals having struggled under Cioffi. Palmer is full of confidence and his brace helped them secure an excellent point at Plymouth Argyle in their last game.<\/p>\n

As well as a new deal for the manager, the club have also confirmed his assistant Lee Bradbury will also stay at the club.<\/p>\n

What Was Said<\/h3>\n

Speaking to the Crawley website<\/a> about his new deal, Yems said: \u201cI’m delighted to be staying on at the club for the foreseeable future.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone has been first class since I’ve come in and the boys have really bought into what Lee and I are trying to put across to them. All the staff at the training ground and at the stadium have been great too.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fans have really supportive of me since I’ve come in and the noise in the terraces and stands has been great so long may that continue!”<\/p>\n

Technical Director, Erdem Konyar also had the following to say: “Since John and Lee have arrived, the team has expressed great character and endeavour.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce again there is a good feeling around the club and it\u2019s important, we keep building to move forward. Personally, I\u2019m truly excited about the future and the results have shown we are on the right track.”<\/p>\n
