Bennett arrives as Millwall\u2019s third January signing as they look to enhance their promotion bid.<\/p>\n<h2>Millwall Sign Mason Bennett on Loan<\/h2>\n<h3>The Deal<\/h3>\n<p>Millwall announced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.millwallfc.co.uk\/news\/2020\/january\/millwall-confirm-mason-bennett-signing\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via their website<\/a> they had signed the striker. Bennett arrives on loan for the remainder of the season determined to make a good impression at the Den.<\/p>\n<p>The striker arrives seeking first-team football after making just nine appearances for Derby. He made his Derby breakthrough at the age of 15, scoring his first professional goal against Millwall.<\/p>\n<p>The striker has since spent time on loan at Bradford City and Notts County. Bennett reunites Millwall manager with Gary Rowett after the two worked together at Derby<\/p>\n<p>Bennett is eligible to make his debut this weekend in Millwall\u2019s clash with promotion rivals Sheffield Wednesday.<\/p>\n<h3>What Was Said<\/h3>\n<p>Speaking to the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.millwallfc.co.uk\/news\/2020\/january\/bennett-on-perfect-environment-at-millwall\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Millwall website<\/a> about his move, Bennett said: \u201cI first had a chat with the gaffer around November time, so I&#8217;ve known about it for a while.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I had an unfortunate injury at Derby just before Christmas, but he has been keen to get me in and I&#8217;ve been working hard ever since to get as fit as I can.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I can bring different attributes to what the lads have now. I know they&#8217;re flying.
